They are REALLY EASY to make!

Please encourage ANYONE you know to make butterflies from scrap fabric and post them to Untangled Threads. They will form part of a huge canopy of butterflies which will surround our visual interpretation of The Butterfly Effect: the power we all have to make small changes which will have a huge impact on the environment.

​Our message to all creatives is 'Remember to make an informed choice at the point of any purchase!'

These butterflies do NOT need antennae or brooch pins, they are simply folded fabric with a few stitches to hold the folds in place. They can be any size:

 

(Minimum finished wingspan = 2")

(Maximum finished wingspan = 5")
